Here are messages from the second Vineyard Church plant plus discussions as added

As a Pastor/Church Planter for Desert Foothills Vineyard Christian Fellowship, for two years until it was shut down in July of 2003, I recorded messages as we acquired the technology. I will add all of these old cassettes as I can load them into a digital format.

Additionally, I plan to add recorded info as well as any short videos I end up creating.

This message had to have been somewhere around 2002, early November.

I spoke about trusting God's plan which INCLUDES our choices.

At this time, our church plant was struggling with very few people and had been over a year. I had gotten laid off in July of 2001 and didn't get a job until January of 2003. Interestingly, I mention in the message that I didn't know how I was going to pay rent for the house we were living in the next month (December). By Martha's birthday on November 8th, a prior neighbor and friend, Joe Watson, who I had counselled him and his wife several times before, gave me a Rolex watch. He had gotten the watch when he was separated from his wife and became proud of it. He said God told him to get rid of it by giving it to me. I told him I could not wear it, but would sell it. He said that was what he expected. God paid my rent for December with that watch, and I worked a deal with the jeweler to throw in a nice women's watch for Martha's birthday.

Also, I mention that in God's plan, I could end up struggling for years, and He could shut down that church plant. That if He did, I would have to trust HIS plan...not mine. This is, of course, what He did.

My choice, was to trust Him, though it was definitely a struggle.

On my birthday, that November 20th, was when God sent me a prophet to confirm, on the only day I ever doubted, that He did in fact appear to me in August of 1984 and write down my request for Him to do whatever it takes to make me the best He can make me.
