Death By Ritual

It doesn't matter if you are Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, any other group, or even a cult...if you believe in Jesus Christ you are saved.

If you don't believe on the finished work of Jesus Christ, but rely on your efforts to be good enough, church attendance, rituals, fasting, special prayers, or any work you do...you will be judged by your works.

You will not be good enough.

No one will.

That is what scripture teaches plainly.

It doesn't matter what your pastor, priest, tradition, or prophet says, for you are not to put your faith in them either.

Faith, is trust in God, through Jesus Christ alone.

Romans 10:9-10

[9] That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

[10] For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Ephesians 2:8-9

[8] For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-

[9] not by works, so that no one can boast.

Galations 2:16

[16] know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified.

Romans 3:20-24

[20] Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.

[21] But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.

[22] This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference,

[23] for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

[24] and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Trust God, not an angel, not any man or woman, and especially not yourself.
