Focus On The Future
Fear
Worry
Helplessness
Yes, the current status of our country, the dangerously corrupt leaders, totally deceived masses, the money hungry medical and scientific community, and dictator like million/billionaires, all give reasons to be concerned.
"I won't have an Alexa because they are listening!" You do realize the phones and smart tv's also are listening and even recording all of our conversations too.
Yes, evil men are taking control. But, they are only puppets for a greater evil, one that will soon enough return again to rule the world through a man. The bible calls him the antichrist.
No, he will not be like the movies at all. He will be more like a super Obama. Those lost down many paths will think he is Christ returning, a savior who will bring great peace. However, when he meets resistance from Christians, Jews and anyone else who can recognize the danger he poses, he will direct his faithful to remove that opposition. Killing to achieve peace. It's nothing new, but the scale of this will be worldwide.
Sorry, but Christians will be here for it. For the many who are absolute that they will not have to face it, like the 5 foolish virgins, they will fall away...as Paul describes "first will come a great falling away".
Yet, if you know God, why fear? Isn't He the God who parted a sea? Didn't He protect Elisha from an entire army? He ripped the ground open to swallow the enemies of Moses. He strengthened one man to fight thousands, and a young man to defeat a massive warrior who was 13 feet tall.
These stories are all true. God does not lie. If you don't believe it, you really might want to get with the Father for reasons to believe them now. Otherwise you may not have the oil of faith to make it through the dark time coming.
If you can't see where you are going, you may just end up following the blind.
However, God has not promised we will all be safe from harm or captivity...
Revelation 13:10
“If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.” This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.
Will you have the patience and faithfulness?
If you don't know or believe in His word now for little struggles, how will you handle it when you can't find food? How will you stand with God when you are hunted and threatened?
Luke 12:4-12
4 “I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. 5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. 6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. 7 Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
8 “I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. 9 But whoever disowns me before others will be disowned before the angels of God. 10 And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. 11 “When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, 12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.”
Do not be afraid. It will be a hard time, but the truly faithful will get to see and do wonderful things for Jesus Christ. Things that just might be written about for countless millennia in the coming kingdom...the one that will never end.
Me, I'm living for that one.
