A Noble Character
Ephesians 6:10-13
10. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
11. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.
12. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Stand.
After you've done everything...Stand.
Holding our ground has never been a showing of weakness.
Satan hates our defiance. He is the ruler of our time, but only in this world and only for a short time. He will be removed soon enough.
This is not fantasy or a silly story. If you don't see the truth of coming biblical events yet, you will.
It is definitely a serious matter as it will be a time of danger and evil. It will make the Halocaust look like a minor event.
It is going to be an amazing time. We will see great evil. Man and leaders murdering opposition. Imprisonment and hatred. Yet, in all of that we will see the God of all the universe do things. It will start with powerful miracles and noble actions from people of faith. It will end with God shaking the foundations of the entire planet.
What they have been saying global warming will cause will be the hand of God in a really short period of time.
Days and months, not years and years.
The plagues have been written about for almost 2000 years now.
It is because of man. Not because of his cars or planes, no. It is because he hates the God who made him. He has rejected God and God's purpose for him.
Yet, Man can be noble. It takes a strong man to trust in God.
Trust in God is everything. When we trust God, we act on God's side. We become part of His kingdom. We become His people, His characters in the story.
We are the main characters.
We may stumble. We may fall. But if we hold on to our faith in Jesus Christ we are guaranteed to win.
That is a good deal.
Trust in Jesus now. Turn from sin and follow Him. It will be worth it.
Become a great part of the story.
