An Unhealthy Attachment

2 Timothy 2:4

No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs--he wants to please his commanding officer.

1 John 2:15

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Revelation 18:4-5

Then I heard another voice from heaven say: "Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes.

Christian, it is time to take a step back and stop getting caught up into the world's latest crisis.

The world is going to go just like the scriptures say. There is nothing you or I can do about it. Stop grieving for it.

It will never love or accept you, stop loving and accepting it. Love people. Share with people, especially those who God has placed in your path.

Your opinion on the way the world turns, won't help them, the truth you have found about Jesus Christ will.

Your job is not to save, or slow the degradation of this world, but it is to be a witness of what you have learned.

Teach, don't argue. Love, don't hate or even express anger.

Your anger over how things are going only shows an unhealthy attachment to your life in this world. That will only make you part of the problem.

Look, this situation is just too big for any one of us, but if we all serve God for those He has given us, then we will see the Kingdom of God manifest.

Love God and love others...these two some up ALL the commandments.
