Are You Interested?

Matthew 6:33

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

You will notice, Jesus said "Seek first", not "be good first" or "walk right first". He said SEEK First.

Interest.

What girl would wed a guy who is not interested?

What company would hire an employee who is not interested?

What God would want a follower who is not interested?

Jesus Christ doesn't. He said so.

Mark 12:30

30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'

All your heart, and all of your strength.

All

Not Some...ALL

You can feel as confident as you like, that He will accept you just because you said a short prayer. It will not matter, if your true interest is minimal.

Do you seek Him, or do you tolerate Him?

Showing interest in your wife only one day a week, will not work.

If you are not interested in Him, He will not be interested in you.

It is that serious.

He will be first.

There will be no seconds.
