Breaking The 4th Wall

There is a change that happens when you realize who and what God really is, and who you really are to Him.

God is outside time and space. He is The Author of the story. The story is everything that exists in our universe including our very thoughts.

We are not much different than a comic book character.

As a character, if you are caught up in the story, you are stuck with the seemingly random events, dodging and weaving while struggling with fight or flight feelings, mixed with depression from endless problems. A vast range of feelings based on events scripted by the One writing the story.

The truth is, reality is nothing more that the Author's heart written in Words so complex that when spoken...well, just looking up in the sky, or out into the ocean, it is much more than any comic book saga.

Jesus is the Word. The cosmic language everything is written by, including everything about us, from birth to beyond our first death.

Don't believe it?

John 1:3

[3] Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

Even Satan and all the coming rebellious angels are made up of Words spoken from the very Heart, or Spirit, of The Father. "Without Him NOTHING was a made."

I know I write about this stuff a lot. It's just that there is such a powerful advantage to seeing the truth of it all, VERY POWERFUL.

In the comic books and movies, we have all been fascinated by a character that turns to the audience and communicates an awareness of who and what they are.

Don Quixote was published in 1605 and had the main character has a chat with the author. Is this prayer? Maybe, in a simplistic example, but the idea is the beginning to a greater understanding.

Power, only comes from Power. Energy is, and flows down. This is set, and understood in laws of physics. It has to come from somewhere. Our own story points to the Source. It points to the Author.

He IS power. All comes from Him. With any source of power, the closer you are, the more you will experience. Ah, but how to get closer?

You do realize that Jesus taught exactly how.

Faith is not something you create. It has nothing to do with your will. If you think so, you have believed a lie, and are heading in the completely opposite direction.

Acceptance is the key. Acceptance happens when you submit humbly to the Source, and let Him show you who and what you are. He does it...not you.

This is faith. Faith is seeing. Jesus is the light that enables you to see.

Don Quixote talked with his author. You can talk to yours. Like Don Quixote, whether you do, or not is in fact up to The Author. If He does it, and you understand it...yeah, wow, that is an eye opening experience. One you can have anytime He wants.

Oh, you have a choice, from your perspective, but ALL is orchestrated and implemented by the One who has the Pen.

"So where is the power?"

Think about what you are if The Author let's you see this. What happens when He gives the eyes to see it? What happens if you are given the gift of Faith?

You see who you are.

Who was Don Quixote? In the story, he was a crazy man who saw adventure and beauty in a sad, corrupt world. A prostitute, was a noble beauty and a windmill a villain. He had a noble fight for righteousness and truth. He was misunderstood, as written by his author.

Ah, but he was in fact THE main focus of the story. The vehicle for the words on the page to communicate the heart of the author.

Is this what you are?

It is what I am.

Why? Because my Author has said so, to me, in His book, and in all of reality.

I am one with Him.

Everything that happens to me, good or bad, is carefully written to shape me into a main character, with an awesome redemptive story arc. I will not lose.

That is power.

Yeah, that is who I am.

You can be too...it's up to Him. You will only know if He let's you see it.

He is the Pen, and the Holder of that Pen. With Him, you just gotta break that wall.
