Good Boy!

Sin does not separate us from God, because God is holy.

He is holy, which means separate. He is unique. He is unique in His presence, power and perfection.

He is perfect. We are not.

He, of course made us that way. He didn't have to, He chose to.

Why?

We have no idea.

Sin, is the struggle with the knowledge of good and evil. It originally did not mean "doing wrong". It came to mean that because Sin does cause the separation from God, but not like everyone teaches.

God never hides from sin. God is way better than that. It doesn't offend Him. How could it? He invented the whole thing!

Yes, He did!

Do you really believe the lie that He, God, lost control of man, and the earth?

Please! You need to look into that book more. No where is God afraid of sin.

The separation is on our end. Adam and Eve hid from God. Mankind still does, we still do, even as believers.

Do you hate your dog when he eats cat poop? Sure it's gross. But he's your dog. Can you imagine how much more you would love him if you made him yourself from nothing? That you made him, on purpose, to be exactly as limited as he is?

Now can you imagine if your dog, suddenly understood that you were vastly smarter, stronger...better. How would he feel about his own actions, his own disobedience, showing how much less he is than you?

"Ouch, I just ate the cat's poop. Yeah, Master made a gross face. I guess this is really yucky. I guess I am really yucky. But I really like the smell of that cat poop. I wonder if it's OK to just roll in it? Boy, I hate this guilty feeling... oh, look, there is some more!"

Yes, we struggle with sinful behavior, because we are not God, not perfect. Yet, He made us to struggle with it. That's why He went to such great lengths to show us we can freely come to Him anytime, because of His great love for us.

Jesus, being God in time and space, pointed to the Father, to Himself, saying over and over, just trust my love for you.

Peter did.

This is how acceptance is found. We just need to humbly come to Him when He calls.

"Good boy! Now stay away from that poop, or I will have to give you another bath, and I know how much you hate them."
