How Do You Measure Up?

It doesnt matter if you are better than others. You are still not good enough.
Salvation, or acceptance by God, is by faith alone.
Faith is a gift, that is given. You didnt earn it, or work for it. You have nothing to boast about, nothing to feel better than another about.
On the contrary, if you understand the grace and mercy of God, you cannot judge another who cannot see it. How could you? He chose you, and He rarely chooses the impressive.
If you do judge others, you only show that you still do not see the truth.
If you see His grace, through faith. You cannot judge another. If you see works or effort, you will judge others.
Matthew 7:1-2
[1] "Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
[2] For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
What measure you use...will be used on you.
Judgement Day only has two options, a book showing what we've done, and the other a book of life.
If you want to be judged by how well you became like God, you will be rejected and cast into the Lake of Fire. The book of works will prove you were not good enough. No one will be, but Jesus Christ.
If you trust in the grace and mercy of God, through Jesus Christ, you will be accepted. It is the only way.
Revelation 20:12-15
[12] And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.
[13] The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done.
[14] Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.
[15] If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
Go ahead and judge whether or not a person is saved, but use the correct measurement. Do they trust Him...or not.
It's easy to tell. When they dont trust Him, they will use the wrong measurement.
