It Is Worth It

The word sin means doing wrong.
Going deeper, it means "missing the mark".
Deeper still, it means "the distance from where the arrow lands to the center of the target."
Even more, it means "the distance between imperfection and perfection".
More still, it means "The distance between good and evil".
Still drilling down..."The knowledge of the distance between God and man".
Do you see it yet?
The tree they ate from. They believed the lie that they could become like God, and gained knowledge that they were not perfect, only God was.
As soon as they ate, they saw they were evil and God was good. They hid because they were embarrassed. They hid because of shame.
We still do. We call it pride. It is a fig leaf.
Ah, but the truth of this is even more amazing.
Without faith, it is impossible to please God.
True?
Yes, it is.
Faith is gained by knowing the object of your faith. ie: you can only trust someone you know is trustworthy. If you don't know them at all you can't really trust them.
Man could not possibly have had faith in God, without knowing God...
See it now?
Yes, it was...intentional.
God does not fail.
God does not make mistakes.
God is in fact PERFECT.
God is the CENTER.
So, He intended for us to experience the knowledge of Good and Evil, even though it caused so much pain. However, if we can now KNOW God, and truly experience a really deep relationship with Him...
Isn't it worth it?
Well, I think so.
