Why are people not attracted to God?

He is the most powerful.

He is the best looking.

He is the most eligible.

He is the most wealthy.

He is the most responsible.

He is the most reliable.

He is the most trustworthy.

He is the most giving.

He is the most and best over everything and everyone.

It just makes sense that everyone should naturally be drawn to Him, yet the opposite is true.

I think maybe its because He is to perfect.

He is so perfect that we must diminish Him in order to look at ourselves in the mirror.

We must diminish Him because someone so powerful is terrifying.

We must diminish Him because the fear of rejection from one so perfect is absolutely certain...

But it isnt.

He is so perfect that even though He is vastly better, bigger, stronger, and awesome, that He won't even look down on us, because He sees us as important, to Him.

Important enough to express that importance in the most painful way ever invented.

No, you are not perfect, He alone is.

He is so perfect, that His love for you has absolutely no flaws. He sees you as perfect too.

You just need to trust Him. He did in fact say it was so.

Why would someone so perfect, need to lie to you?
