Just Do It

I sit in a restaurant in Thailand waiting for a take out order. It's to hot for Martha to venture out so here I am sipping on a beer waiting for the order to be made. Fried rice it is.

I look around and see a western couple, not looking too happy. Western or not, God can help them, and I am more than willing to make a fool of myself if needed. He remains silent. It's not that I, or you are of no use, for the God of all can use anyone.

The truth. He doesn't want to intervene that way. It doesn't mean He never will, but for the one with perfect timing, well, He can use anyone anywhere, whenever He wants. He is not even limited by our willingness. Jonah wasn't willing!

I am. Yet, He barely does anything with me. Yes, it bugs me. But I know that He loves me the same, if I do nothing for Him.

He knows I've tried. If you are arrogant enough to think otherwise, well, you will be rather sorry on that day.

You will.

What I know. If you are His. What you do, or want to do, isn't as important as your desire to know Him.

That, is what He wants.

Just do it.
