Original Sin

The original temptation was to be like God.

The original sin was to not trust God, and believe that lie.

The only way back to a right relationship with God is accepting we are never going to be God, and trusting God in everything through Jesus Christ.

This is accepting Jesus as Lord. It is submission because you trust Him.

If you think you are good because you said a prayer, and pray saying "in Jesus name" then you are still trusting in your ability to affect reality...which is what only God can do.

That is still Satan's tactic, and it works.

Faith in God is trusting Him with everything and not trusting you, men, angels, demons, or dead Christians.

We are saved by Faith...not any work.

God is. We can trust Him.

In Everything, good and bad.

This trust is a gift. It does not happen by your mind, will or intellect. It is never your choice.

It is His.

It is a gift.

Even your acceptance only happens because you believe.

This is just the way it is. This is what scripture teaches.

It is written, to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, not confidence and arrogance.

Don't make this a work, or you are just waisting your time, and will still end very badly.
