Sheep May Be Stupid, But Goats Are Jerks

Luke 6:46

46“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?

Surrender, Submission to The LORD. Fealty, it is submission and service due to faith or trust.

You cannot trust who you do not know. You can say it, but deep down you don't. It will show in how you live...and treat others.

John 15:12-14

12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

14 You are my friends if you do what I command.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Luke 8:21

21 He replied, “My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s word and put it into practice.”

HIS Brothers and Sisters are the believers...those who really believe, shown by their patience, kindness, lack of envy, no boasting, never proud...yes, them...not perfect, but nice people.

Most of the meanest and unkind people I have known in my 40 year walk with God have been in churches. No, not the ones who only come once in a while. No, they were nicer than the regulars, the lay leaders, and leaders. The worst over all have been the Pastors. Yes, more hateful and evil than the worst secular bosses I have ever had.

1 John 3:10

10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.

Love is kind.

Galatians 6:7-10

7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Matthew 25:45-46

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Sow "I will ascend", or I'm better than THAT guy and reap the Lake of Fire.

It IS that simple.
