There is nothing you can do in order to become righteous, other than faith in God through Jesus Christ.

Good works, are an outward expression of that trust. Similarly, evil works are an expression of no faith in God.

God hates lies.

If you lie, you do not trust God.

If you did trust Him you would not do it, because He says it is bad and you trust Him.

It is basic logic. If you don't do what God says, you do not have faith in Him.

If you don't have faith in Him, you are not saved.

It doesn't matter what you tell people.

It doesnt change things if you go to church.

It doesn't fix it by telling the truth to a different person.

It won't bring forgivness by giving a homeless guy a sandwich.

You can't balance the scales!

You will never become righteous by doing anything, other than faith in Jesus Christ.

You must trust God. It is the only way.

He says to love your enemy. Love is kind. Are you lying, gossiping, making snide remarks to show your contempt to them, or are you always kind? Even when they are not.

Faith or a lack therof is shown by what you do...especially when you are angry.

Always.

Want to do better?

Know God better. He is trustworthy.

As you know Him better, you will find that to be so. Faith in Him is the only possible outcome of knowing Him.

Good works will then show it.

Test yourselves, before He does.
