That Distant Friend?

So, do you like them? You know, those distant friends. The one's who don't really spend much time with you, make very little effort to really know you, but claim to know you to everyone.

These friends don't care what you really think or feel, as shown by how they change the subject when you talk deep, or just walk away anytime you get a little personal in conversation.

Its obvious they have no interest in knowing you on a deeper level. They seem super satisfied just being that distant friend.

How much effort will you put into the relationship once you realize they don't really care?

Not a lot.
