Yes, God used the children of Jacob to bring forth the Messiah. Yet, none of it was ever about works, genetics, or good behavior. It has always been about faith.

So if you are stuck with "Oh, they are special", or "Oh, they are evil", you are missing the point.

God uses anyone He wants to reveal Himself. He will use you too, but it doesn't make you special.

He is the only one who is special.
