Are You Alone?

Is God going to stop the devil?

"Yes"

Why did He not do it sooner?

Was He waiting to become strong enough?

"No"

If not, then He could stop him at anytime.

Obviously, God has not stopped the devil yet because He does not want to. His will...

"What about all of the great evil in the world and all the pain and suffering? Are you blaming God?"

Job suffered the loss of property and his children died. Oh and then there was the painful boils and useless friends...

"Yea, but the devil did that."

 Job 2:3 NIV

Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason.”

Well, it looks like God's hand here. Did He lie or is it a bad translation?

Do you trust Him or a more comfortable god you have made up? A made up god is an idol, even if you have not yet fashioned it out of wood or stone.

You can't have real faith if you deny the attributes of the real God.

Isaiah 45:7 NIV

I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord , do all these things.

Proverbs 3:5 NIV

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

"How then can God be good?"

If you don't like this thought because you are not sure if God is really good, that is because you don't really don't trust Him.

God is good, and all the pain has a purpose. Get to know Him and you will see for yourself.

You don't have to like the pain. Why would you? Your not supposed to. It happens to challenge your faith so it will grow.

Your only other option is having a weak view of God then blaming the devil and everybody else.

But then, that is why you still feel like you are on your own.
