Authority

Authority is given by the authority that is higher.

A policeman has authority. It is given by the leaders of a city, state or nation. In our country, the leaders authority is given, supposedly, by the voters.

That policeman cannot act on his own, but when he acts in the name of the city, state or nation, he has great power to accomplish the work of his leadership.

Authority cannot be taken without usurping the current leadership. It must be given.

God is the ultimate authority. He made all and rules all. No one is going to take His authority, His name. His name and power will last forever.

You want authority from God to make a difference?

Good, but know this. You cannot take it, it must be given. No, it is not given to all who accept His rule.

Think otherwise? Well, then, go out and heal the sick! If you had His authority you could. Go out and cast out demons. Again, if you are walking in His name, you could.

Just saying "in the name of Jesus" means nothing without the given authority to show you really stand in HIS name. If you are In His Name, demons will not argue with you, they will go. So will sickness, poverty and disease.

To get that authority, like anywhere else in this world, you must get it from THE authority.

But know this, if you cannot accept who God really is, you will never get His authority.
