Dependance On The Dependable

There is a freedom to accepting the truth that God has predestined all our choices.
We are free to relate to Him in a very real way.
Denial of Him, and His power, separates us from Him.
It brings independence, which is dependence on self.
"in"- "dependance"
He is life. Separation from Him is death.
"Give me freedom or give me death!" makes more sense now.
As a part of the story, you cannot be "free" from the Author, only free to be "one" with the Author.
From your perspective, within the story, it's up to you. The "illusion" of choice is still a choice.
From His perspective, you were made to choose exactly what you will, or have done.
"How is this fair?"
(See Romans chapter 9)
How can you possibly judge God, a being outside and above everything? He knows things you cannot possibly comprehend.
This "understanding" is impossible to accept if you don't KNOW that God is good.
If you KNOW He is good, you KNOW He always has a good reason for everything that happens...even if it's a terrible disaster.
Isaiah 45:7
[7] I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do all these things.
This is faith. Knowing God well enough to trust He is running the show in the absolute best way possible.
Scripture does say this, over and over.
So, your "choice" is to accept this and be free, or place imaginary limitations on Him and worship a made up being who is as limited as you.
God is not in time. You are, and so is every angelic being made by Him.
Accepting our limitations is accepting we cannot become god.
Dependents become free.
Independents will die.
Knowing God gives us freedom to live forever.
