F That!

There are these videos that I've seen while flipping through Facebook Reels, that I find disturbing.

It is basically a talk show where guys are on one side, and rather loose girls are on the other. Most of these clips show the guys taking apart these girls in a rather unkind way. Sure, the girls are wrong and making a mess of their lives, yet the men challenging them are dropping f-bombs, and being mean at times, all while standing from a Christian moral position.

It is disturbing.

It is disturbing that so many young girls believe they are succeeding and manhandling their world by basically being prostitutes. They think they are in control, as they give every hot, or rich guy, whatever he wants.

Worse still, is the "christian" men who act like regular men, with their meanness, and foul language.

Both are wrong and decieved, but these men are the worst of them. Like many who believe they are "in Christ" because of a silly prayer, they continue to behave as if God is pleased with their "better" lives, when, in reality, all of them are sinners.

They are missing the point of the gospel. The salvation by a gift of grace alone.

After Jesus appeared to me in 1984, I had a short period where I could pretty much ask Him anything and He would answer. One of my big questions was about swearing...particularly, the f-bomb.

On my knees, I asked. His response was a chapter and verse.

At the time I had barely read any of the book, so a chapter and verse was not something I would have known. In fact I still know very few. I can quote many verses, but to offer the chapter and verse, no, it is not something I will ever be good at.

The verse? 2 Timothy 2:16. When I looked it up it said: "16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness."

Now, the odds of a scripture that I had never read, popping up in my mind, and fitting exactly to answer a question...well, that would be astronomical.

Yes, God told me He doesn't like the F-bomb.

Months later, I had a dream where I got bitten by a solid white cobra, with a black diamond mark on its head. Shortly thereafter, I met a pastor who spoke like a sailor. The guy seemed to be very into God, but had that one flaw.

Understanding, God's grace, I didn't dissmiss him for his flaw. You see, I totally did not see the dream connection, until two years later!

If God wanted me to understand it, I would have. Ah, but as the dream showed...I got bit, and poisoned by the snake.

The black mark, was his use of the f-bomb.

I'm sorry, I know many believers who just feel so comfortable talking this way, but I must tell you it is not good! God doesn't like it.

It is interesting too, many of these believers are more loose in other areas, just like in these men in those videos: rudeness, hatefulness, judgmentalness, and shacking up with people they are not married to. God calls that fornication, and it is extremely serious.

Yes, repentance is available if God give anyone that grace. It just bothers me how these loose girls probably have a better chance of receiving it, than the judgmental guys who think they are "better than", because their sin is not as obvious.

Yes, I find that disturbing.

So, seeing that the f-bomb increases unto more ungodliness, maybe it would be a good idea to put that one aside.

It has definitely become a black mark for many...
