Finding Peace

Matthew 5:39

39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.

You can't do that without trusting God is in control of ALL events. For what if they don't stop with the second cheek?

Luke 6:30

30. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.

You can't do that without trusting God is in control of ALL events. For what if they ask for or take everything you own?

Matthew 6:34

34. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

You can't do that without trusting God is in control of ALL events. For what if you are going to fall into a wood chipper next Tuesday?

Matthew 10:33

33. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.

You can't do that without trusting God is in control of ALL events. For what if they torture me?

Proverbs 3:5-6

5. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6. in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.

You can't do that without knowing God is in love with you. For if He loves you, nothing that happens will ever take you from Him.

He knows what's best. He does what's best...even when it hurts. The Father is not a good good father, He is a Great Great Father.

Is He your Father?

If you don't know He loves you, you cannot trust God in the face of your enemies, potential thieves, your future and your eternity.

1 Corinthians 13:13

13. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

The greatest faith comes from the greatest love. You can't know God's love without getting to know God.

Pursue God through Jesus Christ and you will find faith.

Pursue God through Jesus Christ and You will find love.

With faith, hope, and love, you will find peace...in any circumstance.
