It's Just Sad

I'm sorry, but most Christians are liars and pretenders. They are not what they profess no matter how many homeless they feed, songs they sing, or even prophetic words they speak.

They just aren't.

A Christian, a real Christian, is a follower of Jesus Christ.

A Follower.

That means that they must know what He says at the very least.

They don't.

They don't even look at that Book.

Oh, they listen to Pastor Amazing, regularly. Yet, IS Pastor Amazing teaching truth from the book?

Nope.

Look, it is rather easy to verify. It's not like the book isn't readable, or too expensive. Shoot, you can get it for free as an app on your phone!

So, you can trust in your Pastor, but you must understand that he, or she, is not God.

Who are you following? Who are you studying? Is it the words of God, or the foul regurgitation of some man?

Psalm 118:8

8. It is better to trust in the Lord

Than to put confidence in man.

If you know anything at all of what Jesus said, you should already know how seriously He spoke of this matter...the matter of Him.

Kindness, truth, godliness, forgiveness, mercy, faithfulness, done in increasing measure.

Study to SHOW yourself approved.

It scares me the more I learn, the closer I get to Jesus Christ. It freaks me out to see so many, who are so confident, but are cluelessly living in direct opposition to what Jesus teaches.

He wants you to be Hot or cold.

Are you getting any warmer?
