It's Offensive

Of course its true that the message regarding Jesus Christ being God and the only way to be saved is offensive.

Truth is offensive, but only to those who don't want to see that truth.

If you tell a man that his wife is cheating on him, he is likely to get mad. Especially if deep down he already knows it! He doesn't want it to be true.

This is the way of things.

Yet the odd thing is why would people NOT want to believe in Jesus Christ?

It's not like He is some angry God who is distant and cold.

It's not like He is some demanding God who requires large amounts of money, time and effort.

It's not like He is expecting perfection. He is not.

In fact, all He wants is your heart. The rest...He will do.
