Jesus Is

Updated: May 16

God

Jesus is God, the Father, yet in time.

God, the Father is outside of time and space. He doesn't change because time is change, and He is over, above, and created time. God, the Father, is always present, the same. He is here now, and also with us in the new heaven and new earth.

God is, or as He puts it I AM.

Hebrews 1:3

3. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

Jesus, being THE Representation of God, the Father, acts "in time". He is The Lord as listed in the Old Testament. He is the one who shows anger, frustration, disappointment, along with love, mercy and kindness.

Jesus doesn't need to react as He IS the Father, but does so for our benefit. He is making Himself relatable on purpose.

His goal in doing so?

He is placing, and growing, faith in His chosen.

This faith is relational and grows as we grow in knowledge of Him. The only work that matters is our efforts to know Him better. Any work to find acceptance, approval, or brownie points is the antithesis of faith.

Jesus is the only means, or way to God, the Father. There is no other. Not through a church, man, nation, or religion.

It doesn't matter how good anyone is, or how bad. If they don't believe in Jesus, they will not be saved. That is what is written.

So, the eternal question is simple...do you believe that Jesus is God?
