Lies, Lies, Lies

In my 40 plus year walk with God, I am just appalled at the massive number of those who call themselves followers of Jesus, who are comfortable with lying.

John 8:44

[44] You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Proverbs 6:16-19

[16] There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him:

[17] haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,

[18] a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil,

[19] a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.

Proverbs 12:22

[22] The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in men who are truthful.

Psalms 101:7

[7] No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house; no one who speaks falsely will stand in my presence.

This is serious! God will not be mocked. If you lie comfortably you are not trusting in God through Jesus Christ.

If you are not trusting in God through Jesus Christ, then you are NOT saved.

There are no "white" lies...only lies.

Saying "We should do coffee!" When you have no intention of doing so is a lie!

The same goes with

"I'll pray for you".

"Call me if you need help."

"We love you!"

Goats. There are many, many Goats. The churches have become decrepit, polluted, pens of goats.

Matthew 24:12

[12] Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,

Yes, it is a sign of the end.
