Not Going To Heaven
"But the idea of heaven as we understand it—a place in the sky where the righteous go after death to live forever with God—that is a concept born to Jews sometime during the second century before the birth of Jesus. It was, if you will, a theological miracle. Heaven, at its root, is a Jewish idea." Mar 28, 2010
Heaven is in fact a biblical concept. Being a biblical concept, the Book does describe how to gain entry into this realm. It only happens through faith in God.
The law was given to the Jewish people to show all men that entry by being good (obeying the law) is impossible, because it is something only God Himself could do. Jesus, being God, did perfectly obey the law, but was punished by that law opening the door to heaven for all who trust in Him.
There is no other way into this realm as stated throughout the book.
Sorry, but our "western" twisting of clear principles does not change the truth of what God has written.
I get it if you don't believe in Jesus or the bible, but please don't fool yourself into thinking you or your loved ones are going to be given access into this Biblical realm because you believe you or they are a good person.
To do so, you are in fact creating you own religion...the odds of it being remotely accurate are zero.
I have said many times before, if you are even a little curious, ask Him. If He really is God, He can definitely respond to you.
