Not Needed, Wanted
God doesn't need us for anything.
If He wanted to feed every hungry person He could, with Manna from heaven or bread and fish multiplied.
If God wanted to heal everyone, He could with or without a touch from the hem of his garment, with even just a word.
If God wanted to pay everyone's debts, He could by miraculously filling jars with oil, gold or gasoline.
If God wanted the world to know Him, He could descend onto a mountain or even New York City.
If God wanted, He could easily make everything perfect.
Why doesn't He then?
Simple, He doesn't want to...yet.
He is not waiting for you or I to figure it out so He can act. No, for that would make us powerful and Him weak. He is definitely not weak and we are definitely not powerful.
He has and will do many more miraculous and awesome things, when He wants to, with and without those who serve Him.
He doesn't need us...He wants us.
It is rather nice to be wanted. It is really much better than being needed.
Isn't it?
