On The Same Side

It is a sadly facinating thing to see leaders honor another leader who has imprisoned and murdered those who spoke against them, personally or of their ideals.

Well, fascinating yes, but in a rather frightening way. They honor these leaders who succeded in supressing their opposition. Apparently, they don't for those who failed. Hitler, Pol Pot, Caligula, these guys are hated, but others, Che Guevarra, Castro and even Hugo Chavez are honored.

It should frighten us when our leaders respect men and women who succeded in ruling people by murder and oppression. It should also alarm us when the followers of these twisted leaders also honor these brutal people. Think guard and Auschwitz.

Go ahead, defend those who kill to get what they want. Oh, and also add how Christians have done the same. It only accentuates your ignorance. Jesus never taught that hurting anyone was a good thing. So, just like how the twisted dictators justified their evil for the end goal of "peace", killing for a religious belief is just as evil.

Whether they call themselves christian, which they are not, or soldiers for the religion of peace. Evil is evil, it doesn't matter how you dress it.

No, you can honor evil men all you want, just remember, a heart that supports is no different than the heart that kills.
