Revelation

Updated: 2 days ago

You must understand, the Apocalypse isn't going to be a fight with man against man. It will be a fight between man, and a returning Jesus Christ, who is God.

Man is going to lose, brutally.

If you understand this, you can see how and why there is such blindness, hatred and vitriol from those who call themselves Liberal.

From Wikipedia:

Liberal, liberty, libertarian, and libertine all trace their etymology to liber, a root from Latin that means "free".

Yet, it is not about being free from the rule of man. It is freedom from God. They have a deep seated hatred for God, His rule, His plan, and His purpose, His reality. It comes from the one who actually does enslave them...Satan.

Satan himself has a deep animosity against God. On one hand, he was made for it by the One who is outside of time and space. Yet, on the other, Satan, being stuck in time like we are, resents the limitations. He wants to be like God. He wants to be free. He wants to ascend, and take over.

"I can do it better. Together, we, can do it better."

Sound familiar?

If you look at it from a view that God is an evil dictator, it is easy to become sympathetic to Satan's problem.

Of course, Satan is a selfish liar, so these puny humans don't know what's really going on. They don't realize that no one can do it better. They don't understand that their "freedom" will damage others.

Putting self first, always does.

Thankfully, God is not evil. He can't be, because, being the Author of all reality, His definitions for everything always hold true. Let me explain.

If I wrote a story, in my universe chocolate ice cream would be the opitamy of "good". If you made it you would go to heaven automatically. It wouldn't make you fat, and anyone who hated it would be on my poop list.

Yes, I love chocolate ice cream.

So, what God says is good in His universe is good, and what He says is evil in His universe is evil.

He makes the rules.

His big rule? Others go first.

(I still wish chocolate ice cream didn't make me fat...)

This is why Satan has pushed "liberal" minded man to say "what is good is evil and what is evil is good."

"A man can be a woman, and a woman can be a man." It is a direct, and obvious, opposition to what God has made. Satan can't make the rules. He can only oppose them, and convince people that they are not fair.

Yet, God doesn't lie. His rules are the best possible way for everything to function.

Sure, it says so in scripture, but if you don't trust the scriptures, or don't know God personally, why would you believe it? He did create Satan, and all evil things after all!

And no, He did intend for them to be that way...on purpose. He is outside of time and space, remember? No mistakes for Him...ever.

God is not limited. He doesn't just "know" the future. He was already there, before He started writing it!

"So how do you know that?"

Because of revelation.

Matthew 11:27

[27] "All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

Jesus is God in time and space. He shows change. He is God who gets angry. Who reacts to sinful man.

The Father, doesn't change.

Time, is matter in motion, or change. That is the definition of time.

Being God, Jesus IS The Father. Yet, Jesus, being "the exact representation" in time, God, The Father, offers mankind a relatable representation of Himself. Without Jesus, relating to a God who doesn't change would be impossible.

Yes, it is rediculously difficult to understand...without the Spirit.

I Corinthians 2:7-12

[7] No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.

[8] None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

[9] However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" --

[10] but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

[11] For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

[12] We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.

As it is written in scripture, The Father chooses us, and gives us to Jesus.

He is the One who gives us the faith to believe in Jesus.

Sure He might do it by someone's searching, He might do it by spiritual insight, or even by bizarre curcumstances. Either way HE, The Father, does it.

John 6:44

[44] "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.

It says "no one".

The Father is the Author, even over Satan, angels, demons, man and every piece of matter (spiritual or physical) in all of time and space. The Father gives us to Jesus. Jesus, then, reveals to us The Father.

This is a problem to most "believers". They don't want to understand The Father's role in reality. They, like the liberals, do not like the idea of His absolute control...even though all if scripture teaches this. It is a matter of trust, because of a lack of knowing, a hole in the relationship.

"So what!!?"

Intimacy is when you get to know someone deeply. It's a connection greater that acquaintance or friend. It is like a marriage.

It is becoming one.

This is what the Holy Spirit does. He, is the connection, and it is through Faith. The greater the faith, the greater the connection. The more you know God, the greater the faith. The more you seek, the more you know God.

This is the path.

John 17:20-26

[20] "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,

[21] that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

[22] I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one:

[23] I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

[24] "Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

[25] "Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me.

[26] I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them."

Becoming one with God. This is the goal, but few will find it as Jesus said. Ah, but what does it mean other than some sort of mushy intimacy?

Faith in God is the gift that starts this whole process. The Father gives it, because He wants to, not because we deserved it. He may have given it to you, but He did not give it to Judas, Pharoah, King Saul, and countless others.

Once we have faith in Jesus, The Father even creates the circumstances, and desire, for us to make it grow by seeking to know God better. Then, Jesus reveals The Father. Yet still, it is what The Father does! It is never something we can boast about.

I know this is not something the churches are teaching. Yet, it is definately scriptural, and it is true.

re·veal1

verb

• make (previously unknown or secret information) known to others.

Faith grows as we get to know someone. God wants to be known...if you are His.

When it grows, faith or trust in God, reveals that The Father has His hand, and will, on and over all of your life...your choices, thoughts, struggles and everything.

You are His character, in HIS story.

"Do not worry about your life".

If you really trust Him, you can let go of the struggle with your "choices", your "freewill". You can trust God has control of that, in His better plan, and purpose. This is realizing that you are one with God, as Jesus said.

You cannot fail, because He is you.

No, I'm not saying we become God, but rather God reveals Himself in us and through us. He IS in us and through us.

Philippians 2:13

[13] for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

So, is this being a slave of God? It is if you struggle with the "freedom" the devil pushes. No, true freedom comes when we draw close to God, we become one, into an intimacy that is amazing.

Would you call yourself a slave to your spouse? You might if they were evil. But to one who is amazing? No, that would never be slavery. It would be heavenly.

Would you decide to be free of this intimacy? Do you want to rise above it?

You could be free!

No, this "choice" is not good. God made it that way. We were made to be intimate with The Father...if HE chose you.

If He didn't, you will want to be free. Free from God's rules. Free to sleep with who you want, when you want. Free to live like the rich without working for it. Free to be something you are not.

Is it freedom, to be free from a God who dictates your life?

Freedom is separation from Authority, and control. Separate, from God who IS life. This is why sin brings death...it is separation from life. It is death.

Can you see it now. This is why there is so much hatred, vitriol, and violence from the liberal side of things.

They believe the lie because The Father has not given them faith.

Where else can they go?

Sure, God, The Father, could change that at anytime. He might, or He might not.

Do you still trust Him? Even, if it's one of your children?

Yes, it's hard. But God is trustworthy. You just need to grow in faith by getting to know the Father better...to realize it.

Jesus will reveal Him. You just need to believe, and seek Him.

Or...you could cling to your illusion of self-control. The lie that you can be like God. Oh, it starts very small. Freewill is not biblical. God has never been, and never will be, limited by any man or angel's choice!

Look, Satan isn't stupid. When he reveals himself in Jerusalem, he is not going to have a stupid argument. It's going to sound very reasonable...if you don't KNOW God, and trust The Father, you will not be able to stand against it.

You need a lamp full of oil

Matthew 24:24-26

[24] For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible.

[25] See, I have told you ahead of time.

[26] "So if anyone tells you, `There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, `Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it.

Satan's lie will be so strong that he is going to deceive one third of the angels. Angels!

Revelation 12:4a

[4] His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth.

Yes, the lie is going to be really hard to deal with. Jesus warned us of this! Satan is going to convince mankind that they can throw off the shackles of God, and be free. This will drive the world's armies to the valley of mediggo...Armageddon.

It will not end well for them...no, not at all.

To stand firmly against the lie, we need the reveal, the revelation. We need to know The Father.

It is the goal...becoming one.

It is the best possible outcome for each of us.
