The Dance

You know, if you believe in a God, or being that created the entire universe... with that kind of power, that God can do anything...ANYTHING.
Sorry, but walking on water, and rising from the dead, would be done without a sweat for someone like that... with no effort at all... That God would also be COMPLETELY in control of ALL things.
So if you believe in a God like that, why do you struggle with trusting in Him in your daily life?
Like Peter sinking, as he stepped out on the water, we also get caught up in life by fighting with others, whining, complaining, and becoming an all around jerk.
When Jesus clearly taught that we should turn the other cheek, deal only on the struggles for today, and respond to all things with kindness and love... why? Because the Father is in control, and we need to trust him... we only sink in to the nasty water when we don't trust Him.
Rise above it Christians! We can because he said we can. We don't, only because we don't trust him. Stop fighting, surrender and watch God hold you up when the water is nasty. I for one am tired of swimming...
I want to dance on the waves.
