The Mind of Christ

When God gives you faith, it is a knowledge, an understanding, a sight.

Believing is seeing.

It is a gift. It is Spiritual. It can't be manufactured, but it can be asked for.

It comes from God The Father, through His Holy Spirit.

It is knowing that you know.

You can make it grow by seeking to know God more, through scripture, prayer, and fellowship with others who see.

If you have a miniscule amount, you can ignore it, bury it in the noise of life.

If you are given a greater amount, you will give up everything to know Him more, family, friends, career, even your life.

You will try to share it...even if no one wants it.

It doesn't make you better, but it does put you in a far better position.

It means you belong to Him.

Because it was a gift, one that you didn't deserve, you cannot boast about it. You can only whole heartedly appreciate it.

It can be frustrating, like navigating a market full of blind men, calling out to those who can't see, telling them the way to go. Especially among those who can only see blurry images.

Matthew 25:29

[29] For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him

It can make you incomprehensible to the common man, because the understanding gives you a view from outside time and space...the view of God.

I Corinthians 2:10

[10] but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

[11] For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

[12] We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.

[13] This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.

[14] The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

[15] The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment:

[16] "For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

This is the perfect view. For who else knows the reason and purpose for everything, better than the one who wrote the entire story?

Walking by the Spirit, is walking by faith. It is trusting what you see from God, rather than what you see in this world.

It is the view from outside. You cannot get a bigger picture.

If He gives you eyes to see and ears to hear, you will just know it is true.

Matthew 16:15-17

[15] "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?"

[16] Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

[17] Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven.

Matthew 11:15

[15] He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
