Why Matters

If I feed the homeless because I want favor with God or man, I am not doing a good work, but rather using the homeless to serve myself.

If I feed the homeless because I feel sorry or compassionate toward them, then I will despise feeding those who are hardened, unkind or undeserving.

If I feed the homeless because I love God, it won't matter who I feed... or who is watching.
