Win The Fight

It can hard dealing with those who hate God and righteousness.

A discussion with them always turns circular, twisted and full of lies.

We are now seeing openly this hatred toward right thinking.

As a teacher of God's Word, I have tried to be patient in my responses over the years. Yes, it is hard as they twist what you say to something completely different and do it in such a self-righteous, mocking and hateful way.

Ignore them. Jesus said to not cast our pearls to swine. Basically don't waste the truth on those who want to wallow in the lies.

Of course you must tell the truth to start with, in any meeting with people, but once they turn on you with that wonderful level of nasty...leave them alone.

We don't need to spin our wheels on those who are not even remotely prepared by God to receive the truth, even if they are family. As Jesus said, it will only end badly.

There is no call of God to argue with folks to the point of humiliation. If you think you are called to that, you are mistaken.

Speak the truth in love. When the conversation becomes fruitless, just smile and walk away. Maybe after a while, God will have worked on them for a change of heart. Trust Him, not your clever presentation.

It would be arrogant to think you alone can change hearts without the Spirit of God doing what He must do.

Don't be like them. You don't need to win.

You should want to win them.
